Mill Dale, Dove Dale & the Tissington Spires
It is known that there was a mill at Alstonefield manor in the 13th century and it is believed that it was situated at Mill Dale. All that remains are the mill stones seen here, and a small building (to the right of the photograph below) now owned by the National Trust.
The bridge leads to the famous Dove Valley, with its stepping stones and the Tissington Spires.
