The Watts Russell Arms is a charming eighteenth century stone built inn set in the beautiful countryside of the Peak District National Park, within walking distance of the Dove and Manifold Valleys.

In the three and a half years that we have been fortunate enough to live and work in such a beautiful location we have developed a menu that combines flair with respect for the ingredients we use. Many of our dishes are suitable for vegetarians, and given advance notice we can usually comply with specific dietary requirements. All our dishes are prepared from scratch, using local suppliers wherever possible. We do not use packaged food or ready-meals.

Our wine list is chosen to reflect the quality of our food.

However, we do not regard the Watts Russell as a ‘gastropub’. You can have just a starter or even a pudding on its own. If you are only here for the beer, perfectly kept Timothy Taylor Landlord and Black Sheep Bitter are always on tap, and we try to offer a guest beer as well.
